Pokémon Elite Trainer Box deals UK: how to get ETBs at RRP

Short answer: a standard Pokémon Elite Trainer Box should cost £40–£55 in the UK. Anything far above that is a reseller price. The next big release is Mega Evolution: Delta Reign on 6 November 2026, with an ETB RRP of £49.99. Pre-ordering from a UK game shop at RRP is the most reliable way to get one without paying over the odds.

We update this page when ETBs come back in stock at or near RRP.

What's a fair price for an Elite Trainer Box?

Standard ETBs typically retail at £40–£55 in the UK. Premium and special editions are usually £60–£80. On resale sites, popular sets go for far more: older or sought-after ETBs regularly list at £120 to £250+ on marketplaces, and anniversary sets go even higher.

If you're opening packs for fun, don't pay resale prices for a sealed box. You'll almost always get more cards for your money by buying newer sets at RRP.

Upcoming ETB releases (UK)

  • Mega Evolution: Delta Reign: 6 November 2026. ETB RRP £49.99.
  • 30th Celebration: launched 16 September 2026 and is rolling out in waves through November. There's no standard booster box for this set, and premium collections follow on 6 November.
  • Mega Forces Tin: 13 November 2026 (four packs and a foil promo).

What's inside a standard ETB?

Most current ETBs include 9 booster packs, 65 card sleeves, 45 Energy cards, damage-counter dice, condition markers, a coin-flip die, a player's guide and a storage box with dividers. Pokémon Center editions add extra items, such as a promo card and more packs.

How to get ETBs at RRP

  1. Pre-order from UK game shops as soon as a set is announced. Independent shops usually honour RRP and limit quantities per customer.
  2. Watch the big retailers on release day. Smyths, Argos, Game and Amazon (sold by Amazon itself, not a marketplace seller) sell at RRP when they have stock.
  3. Ignore "Invite only" listings on Amazon. These are register-interest only, so you can't just buy them.
  4. Check who the seller is. Marketplace sellers on Amazon, eBay and OnBuy are usually resellers charging well above RRP.

Is £50 a good price for an Elite Trainer Box?

For a new standard set, £50 is RRP, so yes, that's a fair price. For an older or sold-out set, you'll rarely find one that cheap from a genuine seller.

Are Pokémon Center ETBs worth it?

They include extra packs and a promo, so they can be worth the extra if you can buy one at its official price. Avoid paying resale prices for them.

Will there be Pokémon ETB deals on Black Friday?

Sometimes, on older or less popular sets, but rarely on new, in-demand releases. We'll list any genuine ones here.
